Virtual Therapy Throughout California
Therapy, Wherever You Are in California
I offer virtual therapy to clients throughout California, including individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and therapy for teens when telehealth feels like a good fit.
Online therapy can be a practical option for clients who live outside Marin County, have busy schedules, travel frequently within California, or simply prefer the flexibility of meeting from home.
Individual Therapy Online
For many adults, virtual therapy can offer the same depth and consistency as in-person work while making therapy easier to fit into daily life.
Some clients appreciate being able to meet from a familiar environment, especially when discussing difficult emotions or experiences. Others simply value the convenience and flexibility of not needing to commute.
Whether you are working through something specific or simply want a regular space that is yours, online therapy can offer room for both reflection and practical change.
Online Therapy for Couples and Families
Couples and family sessions can also take place virtually when telehealth feels like an appropriate fit.
Online sessions may be especially helpful when schedules, distance, work, parenting responsibilities, or other logistics make meeting in person difficult. My focus remains the same: helping each person feel heard, slowing down recurring patterns, and creating space for more honest communication and connection.
Because every relationship and family system is different, we can talk together about whether virtual sessions are likely to support the work you want to do.
Online Therapy for Teens
I also offer virtual therapy for adolescents throughout California, although I approach telehealth with teens a little differently.
In my experience, some teens engage very well online, while others find it harder to stay present, connected, or comfortable talking through a screen. Adolescents often benefit from movement, a change of environment, or the less formal feeling of being together in person.
That does not mean virtual therapy cannot work well for teens. It depends on the individual, what is bringing them to therapy, their comfort with telehealth, and how they tend to engage.
If you are a parent wondering whether virtual therapy could be a good fit for your teen, I am happy to talk through that with you during a consultation. We can assess their needs, preferences, and ability to engage online before deciding whether telehealth makes sense.
Is Online Therapy Right for Me?
Virtual therapy may be a good fit if you:
Live outside Marin County
Want to avoid adding travel time to your day
Have a schedule that makes in-person sessions difficult
Feel comfortable talking from your own space
Travel frequently within California
Prefer the flexibility of telehealth
Want continuity of care during busy seasons or transitions
There is no “better” format across the board. Some clients strongly prefer meeting in person, while others feel just as connected virtually. The most important thing is finding a format that helps you feel present, engaged, and comfortable enough to do meaningful work.
