Mimi Olavarrieta Psychotherapy offers a warm, supportive space for individuals, couples, teens, and families seeking greater self-understanding, connection, and growth.

Whether you're navigating something specific or simply looking for a place to reflect and reconnect with yourself, therapy can offer space to feel supported, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and find a way forward that feels more manageable.

Therapy for individuals, couples, teens, and families

Relational, humanistic, and client-centered care

You Do Not Have to Carry It Alone

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns they do not fully understand. Others may not have the words for what they are experiencing — they simply know something feels off.

You do not need to be in crisis to begin therapy. Anxiety, grief, anger, uncertainty, and overwhelm are part of being human. Therapy offers a place to approach those experiences with curiosity rather than shame and develop ways of moving through them that feel less destabilizing.

Therapy for Individuals, Couples, Teens, and Families

I offer therapy for clients seeking support with emotional, relational, and life challenges. Her approach is grounded in helping clients feel understood, supported, and more connected to themselves and others.

Individual & Couples Therapy

For adults and couples navigating emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, communication challenges, life transitions, trauma, substance use concerns, identity exploration, and personal growth.

I support individuals in exploring their inner world, understanding deeper patterns, and developing a more compassionate relationship with their emotions and experiences. With couples, she helps create space for both partners to feel heard, valued, and better able to move out of repetitive cycles of disconnection or reactivity.

Therapy With Teens & Families

For adolescents and families working through anxiety, emotional regulation, identity development, family conflict, trauma, substance use concerns, and relational stress.

I support teens in feeling heard and respected while helping families strengthen communication, trust, and mutual understanding. Her work with families focuses on creating a space where each person’s voice matters and where connection can begin to feel more possible.

I believe growth does not have to come from self-criticism or the pressure to constantly “do better.” Therapy can be a place to understand yourself more deeply while also building practical tools, healthier patterns, and realistic steps toward the life and relationships you want.

A Human, Collaborative Approach to Therapy

My approach is relational, humanistic, and client-centered. I do not see therapy as a place to “fix” what is wrong with you. It is a collaborative space to understand yourself more deeply, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop practical ways of navigating life with greater steadiness and self-trust.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My style is warm, relational, grounded, and practical — creating room for both deeper exploration and meaningful change.

A Supportive Place to Begin

Whether you know exactly what you want to work through or are still finding the words, therapy can offer a grounded place to start.

You do not have to figure it out alone. Support can begin with one small step.
