Therapy for the Life You’re Actually Living

Individual Therapy

Support for the parts of life that feel hard to carry alone.

Individual therapy with me offers a steady, non-judgmental space to explore emotions, relationships, identity, life transitions, and personal growth while building greater self-awareness, emotional steadiness, and self-compassion.

Clients may come to therapy with a clear concern, or they may simply know that something feels off. Therapy is not only for moments of crisis. Some people come because they are struggling, while others simply want a space to better understand themselves, navigate life more intentionally, or feel more supported through periods of change and uncertainty. You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning.

While deeper reflection and self-understanding are important parts of the process, therapy can also provide practical support for navigating everyday life. Together, we may work toward meaningful goals, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, create healthier patterns, and build sustainable changes that feel realistic and aligned with your values.

Individual therapy may support clients navigating:

Anxiety and emotional overwhelm

Relationship patterns and attachment dynamics

Self-esteem and identity exploration

Life transitions and uncertainty

Trauma and PTSD

Substance use and process addictions

Emotional regulation and self-understanding

Grief, loss, and disconnection

Personal growth and self-compassion

My work is grounded in the belief that many emotional struggles are deeply human experiences, not signs that something is inherently wrong. Through therapy, clients can begin to better understand their inner world, relate to themselves with more compassion, and develop tools for moving through daily life with greater steadiness.

Couples Therapy

A space to feel heard, understood, and more connected

Couples therapy with me offers a supportive space for partners to slow down, understand recurring patterns, practice more honest communication, and create room for repair, trust, and connection.

Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck in cycles of conflict, defensiveness, distance, or misunderstanding. Each person may be trying to be heard, yet the conversation keeps leading to the same painful place.

Often, the challenge is not a lack of care or effort, but becoming caught in relational patterns that leave both partners feeling unseen, misunderstood, or disconnected. Therapy creates an opportunity to slow down, better understand those patterns, and develop new ways of relating to one another.

I approach couples work collaboratively and without taking sides. My role is not to decide who is right, but to help both partners understand the cycle they are caught in and what may be happening underneath it.

Couples therapy may support partners who want to:

Improve communication

Navigate conflict with more understanding

Better understand recurring relationship patterns

Rebuild emotional connection

Strengthen trust and respect

Develop a deeper understanding of one another

Move away from cycles of blame, defensiveness, or disconnection

Recognize and express needs with more clarity and compassion

Create healthier ways to reconnect after conflict

The goal is not to decide who is right or wrong. Couples therapy creates room for more meaningful communication, greater awareness, and a deeper understanding of the relationship.

Walk & Talk Therapy

For clients who feel more comfortable or grounded outdoors, I also offers local walk-and-talk therapy sessions when appropriate.

Walking side by side can create a more relaxed and natural environment for conversation, reflection, and emotional processing. For some adults and teens, incorporating movement and nature into therapy can reduce the pressure or intensity that may come with sitting face-to-face, allowing conversation to unfold more naturally while supporting nervous system regulation and a greater sense of connection to yourself and your surroundings.

Walk-and-talk therapy may be especially supportive for individuals navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, or simply those who find it easier to think, talk, and connect while moving. For teens in particular, the less formal setting can sometimes make therapy feel more approachable and create space for conversation to develop at a more natural pace.

These sessions are offered based on location, scheduling, weather, accessibility, and clinical appropriateness.
